Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30th April 2018

InHouse Wills deals with estate planning and administration, which includes creating Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney. This means we must collect relevant personal data about those individuals who request our advice on these topics or who ask us to draft documents. It is important to InHouse Wills that this personal data is handled appropriately at all times.

Data Collection

The majority of data will be collected via face-to-face meetings, but can be supplemented by your telephones calls, emails and also information from public sources such as HM Land Registry. We gather information about the individual, about family and friends that you need to consider in your planning and about the outline of your financial situation. We also record the relevant decisions that you make for drafting documents etc. The nature of the work means that the data will have a wide scope, but we will not collect unnecessary information.

Data Security

Your data will be held securely. Where a client selects a service that needs the involvement of other professionals we will share necessary data with them. Other than that we will share data with other third parties only if authorised by you or as required by law. In case of challenges to your Will the aim is to retain your data for up to 6 years after you have passed away.

Access rights

You have the right to access personal data that is held about you. You can contact InHouse Wills at 93 Gynsill Lane, Anstey, Leicester, LE7 7AJ, or on the telephone at 0845 226 8581, or via enquires@inhousewills.co.uk to obtain this information.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 30th April 2018 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on the www.inhousewills.co.uk website.

The InHouse services necessitate the holding of personal data about individuals. Here is the statement of how it is treated.
