InHouse Wills has been offering Will writing and related services since 2003. We
help clients make a Will, or administer an estate (‘probate’), draft and register
Lasting Power of Attorney, plus we can support clients with planning a funeral.
We particularly welcome enquiries from the family, friends and others recommended
to us by our many satisfied clients.
Even in these difficult times you can still make a Will. Video calls, phone calls
and emails allow you to keep safe as we give advice and take your instructions.
For signing & witnessing a Will the law requires that it is done in person. However
we can do that with social distancing in place, such as signing in your garden with
witnesses standing well away. Indeed LOROS were very helpful recently and made it
possible for a patient to sign a Will witnessed through an open french window.
The government is allowing witnessing via a live video link. However this is only
for exceptional situations and is not simple (read more).
We look forward to getting back to normal eventually, but meanwhile InHouse can still
help with Wills, LPAs etc.
InHouse is a member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters(no. 3521) & complies
with the IPW Code of Practice
Guidance for Funeral Plans is available for new or existing clients, along with help
from local independent funeral celebrant Margaret Wood.
