Preparing the documents for registration, ready to be sent to the Office of the Public
LPA-Property & Financial Affairs and LPA-Health & Welfare are two totally separate
documents, although it is strongly recommended that you do both at the same time.
Remember, any LPA document has to be registered at the Office of the Public Guardian
(OPG) before it can be used.
For just one type of LPA for one person (i.e. 1 document), the InHouse fee is £240
(plus OPG registration fee £82)
For both types of LPA for one person (i.e. 2 documents), the InHouse fee is £320
(plus OPG registration fees £164)
For just one type of LPA for each member of a couple (i.e. 2 documents), the InHouse
fee is £320 (plus OPG registration fees £164)
For both types of LPA for each member of a couple (i.e. 4 documents), the InHouse
fee is £480 (plus OPG registration fees £328)
Where clients can provide suitable, current evidence that they qualify for full exemption
from the OPG’s registration fee then those OPG fees can be reduced.
If you want to draft the LPAs yourself but you need a suitable professional just
to provide the Section 10 certification then InHouse will do that - based on an hourly
rate of £60 per hour (minimum charge £30).
With a wide range of services available, including bespoke options, you are only
charged for the service(s) that you use. You will be given clear pricing according
to your particular situation, before you place any order. You only pay once the documents
are completed. (back to main fees page)
